Definatly need to use headphones or speakers. Another great interactive mood music app.
Visually intriguing, beautiful - and aurally engaging, spacious
Longer tones than Bloom, and results look more - to me - like a moving painting
Better than TV
While Im fond of Bloom, and its more "playable", I spend much more time with Trope as I enjoy the synth tones greater prominence in the mix. Trope has become my favourite sleep music with its soothing tones and the slow evolution of notes when the random modes are switched on.
While many apps are interesting and effective, for me, not too many embody the concept of elegance. This one does.
I loved Bloom, but this is something else! The best generative music app Ive ever used. Its a steal at this price.
Darker than Bloom and Air. Im a goth and I love ambient, and this app is great! That is all.
Some bad moments
Not as interactive as Bloom. Not able to play a melody or single notes :( thought it would be better..Its just missing something.
Great ambiant sounds if you just want to listen to it.
Why is this listed as a iPad app it clearly is for iPhone feel like I was just ripped off to be honest. Low res graphics and well just not cool to sell this as a ipad app
As long as U want to pretend U play yourself. This app leaves no freedom at all, not to mention disability of recording. Why? It is generative space that belongs to credit authors. Ofc U can use external DOW to record it, but all U achieve is a shadow of somebody else. Sounding 10000 times same way. That is what is background lead of every passage U play. My fault. Jumping up from Bloom hoped for some more individual creativity, but me and my iphone 6s plus cannot do it. It still sounds more "listen" then "create". Dissapointed. Few bucks does not matter. With all respect for Brian&folks. "Music for airports" was a jewell. This app is a tombac. Sorry guys.
The random pop up tones are louder then the other tones you can paint with or let play. If the pop up tones could be turned down and the other tones made louder this would help. Also, I think it would be great to have controll, in Bloom And Trone, over the drone tones that are always on.
After using "Bloom" I was expecting more awesomeness, but this program falls flat on its face with its super-limited interface. A waste!
Bloom achieved so much more. Trope is simply a very short loop of dissonant piano notes and older marks. The user hardly has any control at all. Save your cash-stick with Bloom.
